HOW TRAVEL CHANGED MY LIFE
When I was a child, me and my family used to travel a lot. We wandered around Mexico (where I was born and live still), visited several European countries and had fun in Disney World.
Then I decided I wanted to become a doctor, started Med School and my time of travelling was at its end.
Ten years later I found myself sad, jaded, tired and immersed only in the narrow world of hospitals, crying babies, screaming mothers and demanding bosses I had locked myself in.
Adult life will consume you if you let it. There’s a job to succeed at, bills to be paid, expectations you have to live up to. It’s easy to get lost in the shuffle and forget there is a life to live. YOUR LIFE.
That is why three years ago my husband and I decided we were going to start travelling every available moment we had. And we’ve kept our promise.
Travelling is the thing that has helped me the most to cope with everyday stress and the pressures of work. Besides the actual journey, the planning is one of the most enjoyable things I have experienced!
That’s why we decided to start this blog. To help others that don’t know how to begin planning their trip, to pass on our experiences in different parts of the world and convey the happiness travelling brings!
TRAVEL IS LIFE LIVED AT ITS FULLEST. Have you ever stood on a pebble beach, staring at the sea around you and feeling the wind on your face? I HAVE, and it’s the greatest feeling ever! Don’t be afraid to start living!!
